Services & Pricing
FLAVOR offers personally designed plans for your meals, depending on your needs. Prices include initial assessment and consultation, menu planning, travel, grocery shopping service, meal preparation in your kitchen, meal packaging, complete heating and serving instructions, and kitchen clean-up.
Each of my Clients are unique, with personal tastes, dietary/allergic nutritional needs, frequency of cook-dates, and meals designed specifically for them. With Flavor, you are really choosing a service that is designed for your particular lifestyle. Packages and pricing varies accordingly.
The fee for your particular service will be determined during the initial complimentary consultation, but typical pricing ranges from $250 to $350, plus the cost of groceries. 9.75% sales tax will be added on each service.
The cost of food varies based upon your food preferences, but typically averages $100-$125 for five entrees with sides for two people or $150-200 for four people. Your actual cost could be lower or higher depending upon your food, shopping preferences and dietary requirements.
Chef Rebecca is not a nutritionist or a dietitian, but is happy to work with your medical partners to comply with an existing diet.
Personalized Meal Plans
Personalized meal plans are typically set up as a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly cooking service. Our charge is based upon the amount of meals/sides involved, as well as planning and preparation time. Serving sizes are generous and are accompanied by appropriate side dishes. This service includes the following:

Menu Development - Rebecca will develop menus specific to your taste. You may choose from the menu selections or request favorite dishes.
The Cooking Date - On your cooking date(s), Rebecca will:
Shop at the store of your choosing
Arrive at your home at the agreed-upon time
Prepare and serve meal(s) or prepare, package, and label the meal(s) with heating/assembly instructions
Leave your kitchen clean and smelling of delicious home cooked meals
Delicious Meals - Enjoy your home cooked meals in the comfort of your home.
Private Dinner Parties
Give customers a reason to do business with you. This is a great time to be creative... a special dinner for your spouse, a gift for newlyweds, a surprise anniversary dinner for your parents, a gourmet meal for friends or a birthday celebration for someone you love.
Our Dinner Party service includes menu planning specific for you and your taste, shopping, cooking, serving, and clean up. Pricing is dependent upon choice of menu, number of courses and number of people. We typically serve parties of up to 12 people.

Romantic Meal Packages for Two
Make Ahead Service
Treat your sweetie to a romantic dinner prepared in your home. Menu selection of your choice of dinner including appetizer or salad, entree, and dessert. We'll plan, shop and prepare food in advance. You reheat and serve to your sweetheart. All inclusive price will vary according to menu selection.
Or arrange to have your romantic dinner with flowers, candles, and served to you, as well, leaving you alone for dessert, while we do the dishes!
Catering
I am also available to cook and serve private events in your home, for up to 20 people. Prices vary from $15-$20 per person for appetizer parties, $25-$50 per person for dinner parties. Assistants/dishwashers are an additional fee. Flowers and Creative Staging for the party can be arranged for an additional fee, as well.
Private In-Home Cooking Classes/Cooking Class Parties
Select a personalized menu for what you want to learn. It’s a great way to get the girls together, or have a few couples over for hands-on appetizers and enjoy a fun, entertaining evening while learning something new!
Private classes: $50 per hour plus grocery costs
Cooking Class Parties: $50 per person plus grocery costs.
Shared Service

Additional Shopping
Additional grocery items (up to 8 items) can be picked up at no extra cost when the cook date ingredients are purchased.
Referral
Refer a friend who signs up for a minimum of three cook dates and receive 10% off your next service.
Gift Certificate
A gift of home-cooked meals is always appreciated, and would be perfect for families celebrating a housewarming, wedding or new baby, as well as a thoughtful way to help someone through stressful times.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation: Please allow 2 days notice if the scheduled cook date needs to be cancelled. If groceries have been purchased and the cook date is cancelled, the client will be billed for those items. If groceries have been purchased and FLAVOR is denied access to the home because of vacation or alternate access, the client will be billed for groceries and a service fee of $300.00.
Cook Date Change: A $20.00 fee will be charged if the agreed-upon cook date needs to be changed. If FLAVOR changes the cook date. an additional entree will be provided to the client at no cost.
Deposit Refunds: Client deposit is refundable if the 2 day cancellation notice is met.
Additional Fees and Terms
Container Fees for Storage and Packaging: There are two types of containers that can be used during the personal chef service, freezer quality Oven/dishwasher safe Glassware or plastic disposable containers. The reusable glassware option is recommended because of the fitted lids and the ability to go from freezer to oven. There is a one time fee for the reusable glassware containers, usually ranging from $70.00 to $150.00 depending on the size of your family. The containers will stay at your home and are yours to keep. They will be used as the storage containers for the duration of your personal chef service. As for disposable storage containers a $15.00 container fee will be charged every cook date.
Payment
There is a non-refundable grocery deposit and chef's fee due in advance of the cook date. I will leave a grocery receipt with your change or an invoice if the cost of groceries is more than the deposit amount. If you like, you may leave a check for the upcoming cooking date on the day I am cooking.

50% of the event is due at time of booking and the balance of the event is due the day of the event.
